1.划分新的分区.(以/dev/sdb硬盘为例)

[root@dbatest1 ~]# fdisk /dev/sdb

The number of cylinders for this disk is set to 4427.

There is nothing wrong with that, but this is larger than 1024,

and could in certain setups cause problems with:

1) software that runs at boot time (e.g., old versions of LILO)

2) booting and partitioning software from other OSs

(e.g., DOS FDISK, OS/2 FDISK)

Command (m for help): m

Command action

a   toggle a bootable flag

b   edit bsd disklabel

c   toggle the dos compatibility flag

d   delete a partition

l   list known partition types

m   print this menu

n   add a new partition

o   create a new empty DOS partition table

p   print the partition table

q   quit without saving changes

s   create a new empty Sun disklabel

t   change a partition's system id

u   change display/entry units

v   verify the partition table

w   write table to disk and exit

x   extra functionality (experts only)

Command (m for help): d   ---删除原有分区

Partition number (1-4): 1

Command (m for help): d

Selected partition 2

Command (m for help): d   ---确认已删除了原有分区

Partition number (1-4): 4  ---将整个硬盘划分成一个分区

2.查看已划分好的分区

[root@dbatest1 ~]# df

3.将新的分区加上LVM管理

1).创建PV

[root@dbatest1 ~]# pvcreate /dev/sdb4

Physical volume "/dev/sdb4" successfully created

2).创建VG

[root@dbatest1 ~]# vgcreate vgdata01 /dev/sdb4

Volume group "vgdata01" successfully created

3).创建LV

[root@dbatest1 ~]# lvcreate -L 140000M -n lvdata01 vgdata01

Logical volume "lvdata01" created

4).创建ext3文件系统

[root@dbatest1 ~]# mkfs.ext3 /dev/vgdata01/lvdata01

mke2fs 1.39 (29-May-2006)

Block size=4096 (log=2)

Fragment size=4096 (log=2)

17924096 inodes, 35840000 blocks

This filesystem will be automatically checked every 25 mounts or

180 days, whichever comes first.  Use tune2fs -c or -i to override.

5).创建mount目录

[root@dbatest1 /]# mkdir data01

6).挂接LV到mountpoint

[root@dbatest1 /]# mount /dev/vgdata01/lvdata01 /data01

4.确认已完成.

[root@dbatest1 /]# df

/dev/mapper/VolGroup00-LogVol00
